Caldwell 109 is a nebula (NGC 3195) in Chamaeleon — a luminous cloud of interstellar gas and dust. It appears as number 109 in the Caldwell catalogue, Sir Patrick Moore's 1995 list of 109 bright deep-sky objects for amateur astronomers. It spans roughly 0.7 arc-minutes on the sky. At about magnitude 11.6, it is a fainter object best hunted with a moderate telescope under dark skies.
