Caldwell 75 is a star cluster (NGC 6124) in Scorpius — a family of stars bound by gravity. It appears as number 75 in the Caldwell catalogue, Sir Patrick Moore's 1995 list of 109 bright deep-sky objects for amateur astronomers. It spans roughly 13.5 arc-minutes on the sky. At about magnitude 5.8, it is a rewarding binocular and small-telescope target.
