Caldwell 104 is a star cluster (NGC 362) in Tucana — a family of stars bound by gravity. It appears as number 104 in the Caldwell catalogue, Sir Patrick Moore's 1995 list of 109 bright deep-sky objects for amateur astronomers. It spans roughly 8.7 arc-minutes on the sky. At about magnitude 6.6, it is a rewarding binocular and small-telescope target.
